Abstract
The paper analyzes the smart working, used in the Vatican during COVID-19 emergency. The author briefly retraces the steps that led to the introduction of the institution – previously absent – in the Vatican. Then he proceed to an assessment of the lights and shadows of smart working and investigates the possible prospects of delocalized work in the Vatican even beyond the COVID-19 era.
