ABSTRACT
For the conservation, restoration, protection and enhancement of the heritage of the Fondo Edifici di Culto (FEC), the need emerged to identify new public funding channels, overcoming the boundaries of the institution’s self-supply. The National Recovery and Resilience Plan represents a concrete opportunity for the safeguarding of cultural heritage of religious interest owned by the State which will allow the pursuit of the purposes of the FEC, with particular reference to the usability of churches for the exercise of religious functions.
