The paper focuses on the link between sustainability, integral human development and religious factors that underlie the renewed attention to environmental issues. This focus has recently been confirmed by the approval of the CER decree promoting the establishment and development of renewable energy communities in which religious communities can play an important role in the implementation of projects for Promotion of the common good.
