Abstract
The essay aims to investigate the role that the Alternative Dispute Resolution play in the context of the Jewish, Islamic and canonical confessional systems. The article proposes a comparative analysis that aims to bring out the “promotional” spirit with which these instruments are disciplined and applied in the various religious systems. The authors’ analysis highlights how confessional rights can contribute to that cultural conversion that favors the implementation, especially in the procedural-civil sphere, of the use of concilia- tory private autonomy, even in the intercultural dimension of these tools.
