ABSTRACT
The essay focuses on the Author’s experience as President of the Commission for the Agreements with Religious Denominations and for Religious Freedom: in the firm belief that it is impossible to assume that what unfolds with the Holy See or the Italian Bishops’ Conference is impervious to and rigidly separated from what happens, at the same time and in parallel, in respect to other confessional realities which are present and operate in our country.
