This volume collects and enriches the presentations given at the conference organised to mark the 900th anniversary of the Concordat of Worms (1122) at the Department of Business and Legal Sciences of the University of Calabria – UNICAL in Cosenza on 25 November 2022. The published essays offer an interdisciplinary analysis of the spatial and temporal coordinates of the concordat institution with the aim of identifying its historical roots, attested to by conventional formulas even prior to the Callistine pact, as well as its relevance in the contemporary socio-political context.
