ABSTRACT
The paper focuses on the figure of the civilly recognized ecclesiastical entity, forty years after its birth pursuant to Law No. 222/1985. The Author intends to highlight the ongoing relevance of the model, which, however, is undergoing significant transformations and consequently poses new legal discipline problems that require a broader and more comprehensive, systemic vision.
