ABSTRACT

The paper proposes some introductory considerations, from the point of view of law and religion, on the recent “security” Decree-Law n. 48/2025, in order to highlight the importance of reference to the religious factor for a deeper understanding of the tensions that, even through the reworking the concept of public order and, specifically, the overlapping of public order and public security, characterize the political management of multicultural and multireligious contemporary society as well as the overall story of the democratic State and the uncertain guarantee of freedom and pluralism.
